Note

On Agnes Swan and John Cargill's headstone it says he drowned off Aden in 1856, he was a pilot and white fisher. However, he was actually drowned 3 miles off the mouth of the River Eden in Fife, his fishing boat overturned, another John Cargill was drowned in the same incident, he was the thirty year old son of Francis Cargill and Helen Watt.
